About the Artist

Founder of A Sense of Wonder Studio LLc, Leslie Goldman approaches her artwork with "a sense of wonder," playing with bright colors, whimsical subjects and characters, creating dreamlike environments that give the viewer’s imagination room to explore.

Ms. Goldman works with ink, watercolor, gouache and acrylics intuitively listening to her media’s splotches, runs and puddles as she creates images that evoke children’s stories and folktales.

Leslie holds a BFA from Alfred University in New York. Originally from (and now in) Philadelphia, she has also called New York, Texas, Maryland and Melbourne Australia home. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, England and Israel. LEslie creates work in her Fishtown based studio.
